Enterprise Europe Network Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
In 2008 the European Commission launched the new pan-european "Enterprise Europe Network" to promote the competitiveness and innovation capability of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
The Enterprise Europe Network is made up of 600 partner organisations in more than 40 countries. It combines the experiences of the former Euro Info Centre (EIC) and Innovation Relay Centre (IRC) networks.
In Mecklenburg-Vorpommern the Enterprise Europe Network is hosted by a consortium consisting of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rostock, the ATI Küste GmbH, Steinbeis Research Center the Technology Management Northeast and the Technologiezentrum Warnemünde e. V. It provides information and services on EU-relevant matters to SME throughout Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
